THERAPEUTIC MUSIC
Music is enjoyed all over the world for every reason we can imagine. People play and listen to music for; joy, celebration, energy, entertainment, worship, relaxation, connection, comfort, healing and the list goes on. Therapeutic Music is music which provides a sound resonance a person benefits from at that specific moment in time which can help aid them in arriving at a better state of well being. Live therapeutic music happens when the musician follows the cues and physical needs of an individual in real time and therefore is able to adjust the music appropriately to provide the most beneficial sound.
As a Certified Music Practitioner (CMP), I have learned and practiced the art of therapeutic music, understanding how and why it can work to help aid people in their healing process. I am certified to provide live therapeutic music, one on one, at the bedside, for hospital patients of all ages and types of diagnoses, residents in assisted living care, memory care facilities, as well as individuals in hospice care situations.
If you are interested in therapeutic music and the service and benefits of a Certified Music Practitioner, please contact me and I would love to talk with you.
